Chanel Coco Noir, New Perfume

July 25, 2012

Lavish and deluxe fashion label Chanel launches a new elegant and alluring perfume for women, Coco Noir. Chanel Coco Noir is the new fragrance in the Coco Collection that also features Coco launched in 1984 and Coco Mademoiselle launched in 2001. It has the same bottle shape as other Coco perfumes, yet this one comes in an intense black color inspiring a classical style touched by mystery.

Chanel Coco Noir is created by perfumer Jacques Polge as a woody/floral and citrusy perfume. Coco Noir opens to impress with an oriental composition made of grapefruit, bergamot and orange. The middle captures with a strong aroma made of jasmine flowers, essences of rose and red geranium, along with chypre character of Indonesian patchouli. The rich and intense base dries down with Brazilian Tonka bean, Bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, frankincense and white musk.

Chanel Coco Noir will be available from August 2012 in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
